Filipino food

Laing is a spicy vegetable dish cooked in coconut milk. This recipe originated from the Bicol region. In picture, aside from the laing, there is also danggit, or dried fish, which complements the laing well. Dip the danggit in native coconut vinegar and you are on the way to Filipino food heaven. And then washed down with fried garlic topped fried rice!!!

Other spicy recipes with coconut milk base also comes from the Bicol region like the Bicol express which has pork as its main ingredient.

Spicy and tasty and addicting.
