Apparently Manny Pacquiao is fed up. In true Amir Khan fashion, Pacquiao has given Floyd Mayweather until the end of January to sign on for a megafight scheduled for May 2, 2015.
In a statement to the LA Times Pacquiao stated “My promoter and I, we’ve already agreed to the terms and conditions of whatever he wants. We’re just waiting on the signed contract from him. That’s the hard part – if they will fight or not. We have to know soon, because if they will not fight, we can move on and choose another opponent. We have a deadline … this month.”
Rumors are floating around that Mayweather is considering a rematch with middleweight champion Miguel Cotto if a deal with Pacquiao isn’t reached. While the world would like to see Floyd vs. Manny, a fight with Cotto could have a bigger historical significance…
